Fire safety: Are we doing enough?
Thousands of buildings across the country still have serious fire safety issues that need to be remediated.
Whilst many social landlords have already carried out fire safety works, many housing associations have highlighted how fire safety work comes at the expense of other work landlords need to carry out, including decarbonisation projects and building new homes.
With inflation hitting double digits and a potential rent cap on the horizon, how can the sector ensure history does not repeat itself and best practices around fire safety are implemented.
This session will explore the barriers to adopting fire safety solutions, actioning recommendations from fire risk assessments and taking a targeted approach to fire safety.
